To our faithful brothers and sisters in Christ;
Happy Holidays!
We trust your holidays have been full of love, joy, and relationship as we celebrate the greatest gift we could have ever received! God has been more than good to us as we stumbled through our first Christmas in Taiwan. We are blessed to be a part of a community that embraces our Lord’s birth despite the rest of the country not skipping a beat.
Our home houses several people, including ourselves, that are living away from our earthly families so we invited more friends and celebrated Christmas day as brothers and sisters in Christ! Our meal of choice was a taco buffet since Mexican cuisine is a scarce luxury in Asia. We ended the day with boardgames, fort tents, and left overs while we thanked God for what he’s done in our lives of late.
- Our Christmas day friends. Our taco buffet was the first Mexican food we’ve had in almost five months!
- As English teacher’s we were given a unique opportunity this Christmas season to share with our students why it is we celebrate Christmas.
- Our family of Aroma interns, three of which live with us. (Plus one more in January!)
Speaking of that, we are looking forward to our six month anniversary of our arrival here in Taipei. We can’t wait to share with you some of the great things God’s been doing in our lives and the lives others here at Aroma. We’ve got a sweet update planned for that in January of 2016! Until then, enjoy your time off. Enjoy your family and friends and continue to thank our Creator for His everlasting love!
2015 has been a whirlwind but we are so thankful for you, our faithful family! Thank you for helping us bring God’s glory to Taiwan and the world!
Much love,
The Siemens
